Halloween in Belgium 2013

Halloween in Belgium gets better each year.  Decor and costumes are a little easier to find and every chocolate shop has pumpkins and ghosts galore.  Trick-or-treating is a little different.  We have to pay 15 euro for each child to participate.  It's in one neighborhood (there are a few other neighborhoods that do it as well) and can be very crowded.  The kids are only allowed to go to certain houses, those with a balloon.  This year they had a great zombie Michael Jackson dance act, a haunted farm, and the houses that participate decorate very nicely.    It's a lot of fun if the weather is nice and this year it was great "fall" temp!

She was too cute in her costume!

The kids trying to get E to look at the camera

Getting ready for some candy!!!

The Michael Jackson show was so good!!  Performed by teens!

She was a little hesitant at first.

But then she got into it and after her first taste, she was HAPPY!

The decor gets better each year too!

Especially this house, that freaks out most kids!  It's full of creepy monsters and music and fog!

Drake wasn't sure about the fortune teller

Graveyard making time!!  I found this cookie graveyard kit in my halloween decor...from the states.  So it was very old, but still ok to decorate.  E kept eating all the candies, she didn't get sick though.  Good ole American preservatives :/

They all did a good job with their tombstones :)

HALLOWEEN PARTY
Of course we had to have our fun Halloween party again this year.  Last year was so much fun and we wanted to repeat that.  This time the adults had fun dressing up too!

Loved my new toilet decor!

Ready to party!!

Preslee was the nerdy, but bloody, devil girl
