We decided to give these twins a little shock for their birthday. The actual big day was Jan 31, but since most all of their children were in for the holidays, it was the perfect time to get them. Our Aunt Kelly had the good idea to surprise them early....and they were definitely surprised!
| We tried and tried to get them there at the same time, but we just couldn't get it to work. So first to show up was mom and she was shocked! |
| And still wandering what was going on.... |
| And reprimanding the grandkids for not telling her! |
| Next Aunt Karen got the SURPRISE! |
| The grandkids loved running up to them and giving big hugs! |
It had been awhile since all of us had been together. We enjoyed some yummy pizza and had a great time catching up!
| The birthday girls! |
| Kendall played "Happy Birthday" on her violin |
| Time for the gifts! |
| Aunt Kelly got these for them...so funny! I'm sure they will get their little sister back one day! |
| Emerson loved playing with Collins! |

| Carolyn and her grandkids....just missing Mason and Beth had already left. |
| It was a fun celebration! These two women deserved it. They have put up with raising all of us kids, which was not an easy task, and are still putting up with us!! Happy Birthday Mom and Aunt Karen! We all love you! |
On Mom's actual birthday, I flew in to surprise her! My sisters and aunt met me at the office where she works before it was time for her to leave. She kind of messed up my plans when she was looking out the window the second I pulled up, but it took her a minute and I saw that hand on her hip and knew she knew it was me! She was in shock for a minute I think! We took her to dinner and had a fun weekend of shopping before I had to head back to Belgium.
| And I got to see my adorable new nephew, Lennox! |
