Spring time misc pics. Well, it's technically spring, but in Belgium you never know if it really is or not! Best advice-dress in layers, dress in layers, dress in layers.......AND a raincoat! That's what I tell all my visitors when they ask "What do I pack?"

ISB International Festival

The International Festival at ISB is such a great event. There are so many countries represented at our school and this is an opportunity to learn more about each one and eat lots of great food a long the way! Each country gets a booth where they present crafts, food, drinks, etc that are a part of their culture. It's a very fun day! March 23

Emerson enjoys all the fun lunches and birthday parties that me and my friends have...she's not shy about eating that's for sure :) This was a plate of some odd desserts that we got at a Moroccan restaurant....she liked them!

And Gran arrived on Easter too!! Then we were off to Ireland the next day!

The Neuhaus Chocolate outlet is.....heaven

After our holiday in Ireland we still had a few days left of Gran's visit. The kids had never been to the outlet before (although I have many, many times) so we decided to go so Gran could get her chocolate to take back to the states.

This is what it looks like on the inside....tons and tons of chocolate to sample. This is why, after a few visits, I make sure to take a long some bottled water. They would make a lot of money if they sold water too...I guess they think that most respectable people don't come and make themselves sick off the samples...hehehe

We loaded up! Typically I never purchase anything because I've had enough to sample until the next visitors come....but bringing the kids, there was none of that happening :)

ONE DIRECTION HERE WE COME!!!

Preslee and her friend Allison are pretty much obsessed with One Direction. T-shirts, magazines, and posters galore! We knew they were coming to Antwerp but the ticket prices were outrageous. The day of the concert they went down a little. So Allison's mom (Wendy) called and we decided to get some tickets for us four to go. The girls were beyond excited!

The line to get in was a bit ridiculous. It really wasn't a line, more like a herd trying to all go into the one door they had for entry. Only in Belgium... So that took a good hour or more with A LOT of teenagers!

It was a really good concert and the girls had a blast!

Preslee is my helper when we are away. Emerson only wants her most of the time and not the babysitter, so she puts her to bed and helps take care of her. <3
