Strasbourg

On our drive home from Switzerland, we were lucky enough to have time to stop in Strasbourg, France.  It was pouring rain so we didn't stay long, which was disappointing because it is such a cute place.  Maybe one day we will get to go back....

The beautiful cathedral peaking through Old Town.

One of the largest astronomical clocks in the world is located inside the cathedral.  It indicates the day, month, year, zodiac signs, equinoxes, and more.  Legend says that the creator of the clock had his eyes gouged out to keep him from duplicating it.....

We were here on Ascension and the clock was indicating that day....

The kids weren't too thrilled about seeing another church but this one did look different than the others and it was huge!  It's the 6th tallest in the world, and the highest church still standing that was built in the middle ages.

She did not like the rain cover!!

We ended with a carrousel ride before heading home

Thanks Vastines for another great trip!!!
