This is a bit of a scattered update...some pics and such that hadn't quite made it to the blog yet.  It's not really in any certain order but starts around mid January...what can I say??  Four kids!

Preslee's early morning violin recital

Drake practicing his diving skills

Going on a date with Mommy & Daddy...3 1/2 mths
Toothless! May 1

The boys begged us to put E in the tub with them!  May 12

Preslee had a great opportunity with her girl scout troop to go to Parliament and see Jane Goodall

Loves to suck her toes...

Talking to her flowers

Pure sweetness

A few pics of the kids' bedrooms

We can't paint, so I'm glad I purchased a few wall stickers before we left!

I think she needs a bigger closet!!  Mike doesn't agree...

Preslee's room

Drake and Kade share a room because it is so big (and I wanted to keep the 5th bedroom for my closet...:))  The 6th & 7th bedrooms are on the 3rd floor and they are for our guests (so come visit!) and a playroom.

Drake loves his babybel cheese, but what he does with the wrapper I can't be responsible for....

5 months!

Here they had to work together to build a tower out of blocks that was as tall as the chair

Stanley even came to visit us!

Bumbo girl! April 20

I thought this was such a cute pic!

Preslee's choir concert

Preslee's girl scout troop helped to decorate for Relay for Life to help with earning their bronze award.  They took empty bottles and painted them, they also made new candles out of old candles and crayons.

And they cut & sewed these letters to make a banner

Jeanneke Pis-there's a boy, so I guess there needs to be a girl.  She's a little more hidden and not as popular as Manneken is.  I think they represent Brussels well because everyone is always peeing on the side of the road and they don't hide very well!!

Drake's nursery school picnic...

Of course it's inside.....rain, rain

Miss E did not like her first taste of cereal...

....but she's still smiling!

Preslee catching...she said she couldn't see out of the mask!

Kade swinging his bat!

Preslee's orchestra performance

Saying good-bye to another friend with lunch at my house

The last day of school....  It's a bittersweet day for sure.  We are so ready for a break from school but we all also have many friends that are leaving.  That is something we will all deal with each year....very different for us.  On the last day all the buses leave honking their horns, it's quite a teary-eyed moment.

Kade with his teacher Ms. Meyer

Drake and Ms. Wallia

Ms. De Kloe

Preslee and Ms. Toms

Well, it's been an interesting first school year in Belgium.  We've had our ups and downs, but have learned a lot along the way.  We have definitely enjoyed the benefits of living in Europe, but we are so excited to come to the states for a visit!  Just 3 more weeks!!!
