Our last day of winter break we decided to go see the Atomium. It's kind of one of the symbols of Belgium. Very cool on the outside but very boring on the inside. We rode an elevator to the top and could see a lot, that was neat. Then we went back down so we could go up stairs to the other spheres. It was mostly about architecture and building the atomium...kids were bored, I was bored, and Paps didn't even go up. Oh well, at least we got that checked off the list.
When we were at the top, we noticed a waterpark down below us. It was freezing outside but this place was open! It's in indoor/outdoor park, but most would think the outdoor part would be closed...nope, there were kids running around in their suits waiting in line for the slides. I'm sure the water was heated, but still, they were outside, wet, in the cold! Weird..or crazy!

Grammy and Paps left on Saturday and we were sad. They made it back safe and sound with their chocolate and beer though!! And they will be back in June with Aunt Sherry!
